Matt Maloney is CEO of GrubHub Seamless, the leading online and mobile food ordering company that sent more than $1 billion in gross food sales to local U.S. takeout restaurants in 2013.
Prior to merging with Seamless, Matt served as CEO of GrubHub, a company he co-founded in 2004. Matt led GrubHub through five rounds of investment funding, the acquisition of DotMenu and the 2012 launches of the innovative OrderHub and Track Your Grub technologies.
Matt currently serves as an advisory board member for The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship; is a member of ChicagoNEXT, an organization dedicated to driving growth and opportunity in the Chicago business community; and sits on the board of directors of Merge Healthcare Incorporated (Nasdaq:MRGE). He also is the 2012 Built in Chicago Moxie Award winner for CEO of the Year and a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal’s The Accelerators blog.
Matt holds a Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Science from the University of Chicago.
